Throughout his professional career, Seán has developed extensive knowledge in diverse scientific domains including biotechnology, chemistry, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and veterinary fields.
His academic background encompasses degrees in science, law, and humanities from prestigious institutions such as the University of Port Elizabeth, University of Technology Sydney, and Stellenbosch University.

Seán’s scientific expertise is further enhanced by his PhD in neuroscience from RMIT University in Melbourne. His doctoral research focused on identifying and characterizing a novel excitatory amino acid transporter in rodent brains, which shows promise as a potential therapeutic target for various neurological, neurodegenerative, and neuropsychiatric conditions.
